ABOUT ART AT THE MILL
Art at the Mill is a juried art festival held in the heart of Downtown Ortonville, created through a partnership between local artist Olivia Colletti and the Old Mill Historical Society. Together, they envisioned an event that celebrates creativity while honoring the history and character of the Mill and the surrounding community.

Launched in 2025 as a one-day show, Art at the Mill was built on the idea that art should feel accessible, meaningful, and woven into the places we gather. What began as a small, thoughtfully curated event has continued to grow each year, expanding in both size and scope while staying true to its roots.

Today, Art at the Mill brings together fine artists, crafters, live demonstrations, music, and hands-on experiences in a setting that feels elevated yet welcoming. At its core, the festival is a celebration of art, history, community, and summertime joy—a place where artists and visitors alike can slow down, connect, and be inspired.

My Story.
I’m an artist and live event illustrator with a passion for creating spaces where art and community meet. I specialize in live portraiture at weddings and events, and I love capturing the energy and emotion of creative moments in real time (click "LEARN MORE" above to see my work). After participating in local art shows myself, I wanted to bring that same sense of connection and celebration of creativity to my own hometown. That vision became Art at the Mill — a juried fine art show designed to highlight talented regional artists, support small creative businesses, and celebrate the beauty of Ortonville’s historic setting.
